The weekend of June 22 was a huge one for American cars. Mecum held their annual all-Corvette sale in St. Charles, IL, in conjunction with Bloomington Gold. They sold 67 of 133 Corvettes for almost $2.8m. The top sale of the day was a 1967 Corvette 427/435 convertible at $122k, followed by a pair of 1962 Corvette convertibles at $111k a piece.

Mecum held their "Back to the '50s" sale the same weekend in  St. Paul, MN. 89 of 170 lots sold there for a final total of $1.6m. A 1941 Willys Street Rod coupe brought high sale honors at $90k, followed by a 1933 Ford Speedstar replica roadster that made $57k.

And Barrett-Jackson returned to Costa Mesa, CA for their annual Orange County auction. 412 individual cars crossed the block and 406 of those sold. The combined total was $13.8m. The first 2013 SRT Viper available to the public garnered a high sale of $300k for charity. A 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 brought the high sale for non-charitable lots at $253k.
