Fran and Ron Green, prominent Boynton Beach, FL car collectors, will sell 80 cars from their Verde Classics Museum Collection on February 22-23.

The Greens have offered free admission to their Verde Classics Museum, but they ask for donations to Homes for Our Troops and the Wounded Warrior Charities Military Recovery fund. The museum is located at 121 Commerce Drive, Boynton Beach, FL.

Mecum Auctions is handling the sale, which includes a 1961 Chrysler 300G convertible — an AACA Grand National award-winning car and one of just 338 made. A 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner will also cross the block.

The auction also will feature one 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air and a lineup of seven Chevrolet Impalas dating from 1958 to 1964.

A preview of the 80 cars is scheduled for February 22 from 10 am to 5 pm, and admission is $20. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge.
