After meticulous inspection and research, Leake Auction Company has confirmed that one of the Corvettes from the Tom Falbo Collection appears to be a 1967 L89. The Corvette features a 427/435 aluminum-head L89 V8 engine and carries the VIN 194677S121397. It is Marlboro Maroon with a white stinger and white interior. Leake Auction Company’s November 20–22 auction in Dallas reached $9 million in sales with a 67% sell-through rate. The auction featured a record 598 vehicles, with 120 sold without reserve on Sunday. The top seller of the auction was a 1929 Packard Roadster at $410,000.
