This ’32 Ford street rod — one of the last cars built by the late Boyd Coddington’s legendary California shop — comes to market this weekend at Russo and Steele in Newport Beach, CA. The sale runs June 5-7. The car rides on a complete Boyd custom hand-made chassis, and the hand-formed steel body is by Marcel’s Custom Metal Shaping. Main design cues include special elongated hood and side panels, custom fenders, and a lift top. Power comes from a Roush-built Ford 358-ci V8, complete with electronic fuel injection, MSD ignition, roller cam and rocker arms, and special exhaust headers. The interior features power seats covered in fine leather, wool carpeting, power windows, custom gauges, a/c, and woodgrain dash.
