Released in 2013, “Gangster Squad” featured an all-star line-up of actors, including Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Emma Stone, Nick Nolte and Josh Brolin. Gosling played a police detective in pursuit of a ruthless mob boss. The 1941 Ford Super Deluxe convertible features a flathead V8 engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. A DVD and movie poster accompanies the car.
“Parkland” is a historical drama recounting the events leading up to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It starred Marcia Gay Harden, Billy Bob Thornton and Zac Efron. Both cars feature V8 engines and automatic transmissions. The 1963 Lincoln Continental was used as the presidential limousine. The 1956 Cadillac limousine was used as the secret service follow-up car to the presidential limousine in the movie.
The late James Gandolfini led an all-star cast in the HBO series “The Sopranos.” The series focused on Gandolfini’s character, mob boss Tony Soprano. Many people remember Gandolfini driving the 1999 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban with his baseball bat on the front dash. The Suburban features a 5.7 liter V8 engine and automatic transmission. The driver’s visor has been signed by Gandolfini. This was one of two Suburbans driven in seasons one through four of the series. It has been documented by Movie Time Cars and comes with a letter of authenticity.
