In just over one week McCormick’s Palm Springs Collector Car Auctions will hold their final sale of 2019, November 22 through 24 at The Palm Springs Convention Center in sunny California. Of the 500 collector cars crossing the block, many will be classic American muscle selling for reasonable prices.
Highlights include a 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible believed to still wear its original paint and interior, numbers matching 428 engine and less than 36k miles on the odometer. A stunning red-over-red 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with matching numbers 427 big-block and a fully-rebuilt 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 2-dr hard top in red over a White Pearl interior are also up for grabs.
Fans of Mopar muscle should check out this orange over black 1968 Plymouth GTX 2-dr hard top that has been treated to a frame-off restoration. Also for sale is 1968 AMC AMX 2-dr hard top that has been upgraded with an aftermarket front suspension, coil over shocks and four-piston front brakes. Under the hood is a 360 V8 sporting a Holley carb, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Hooker headers and bolted to a G-Force five-speed transmission.
