2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Raleigh Classic Car Auctions and they are wrapping up the banner year with their Winter 2019 auction to be held December 6 and 7 at the NC State Fairgrounds Expo Center. 300 vehicles will cross the auction block with the first 40 lots on Friday to be sold without reserve.
Five collections will headline the event. The Southern California Collection will feature 26 cars including a stunning matching numbers 1965 Chevrolet Corvette coupe with fuel-injected 327/375 engine and a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission. Other highlights from the collection include a highly restored 1970 Pontiac GTO convertible and a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible equipped with a 396 V8.
Another star of the Winter 2019 auction is an all original 1948 Chrysler Windsor convertible from the Wiseman Collection that has accumulated under 43k-miles in its seven decades of existence. As-well-as a 44k-mile 1959 Pontiac Bonneville convertible equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission from the factory. The Pontiac also features factory deluxe spinner wheel covers, Lurex carpet and an electric antenna.
The auction action starts at 9:30 a.m. both Friday and Saturday with spectator admission just $10.
