SG Auctions has announced their second-annual two-day Premier classic car sale in the city of Winona, Minnesota. This year they are aiming to surpass the $2.6 million sales total achieved in 2018.
Peak autumn colors will again highlight the river bluffs surrounding the Remlinger Muscle Cars museum, the official host and location of the auction. 300 vehicles are expected to cross the auction block. Headlining the 2019 auction is a stunning collection of eight Pre-War cars from Minnesota collector David Harris, all selling at no reserve.
Cars from the Harris collection include a 1922 Pierce-Arrow Model 33 tourer, an usual 1913 Cartercar Model 5A tourer, one of 50 believed to exist and a 1920 Buick Model K44 roadster, just treated to a mechanical refresh. Also available is a 1910 Hupmobile Model 20 runabout and a very original 1941 Cadillac Series 62 sedan with just 35,000 miles.
In addition to the Harris collection, the Winona auction will offer two additional collections selling at no reserve. The John Norton Collection featuring 50s and 60s Nashs and the LP Collection. The auction is scheduled to start at 9:30 am on both Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19.
