Worldwide Auctioneers is set to feature a highly-coveted Mopar convertible during their January 15 Scottsdale Auction at Singh Meadows in Tempe, AZ. The 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 6-Pack convertible is numbers matching, OE Gold Certified and one-of-five produced for 1971. To make it even more desirable this ‘Cuda’s original 440 6-Pack engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.

While all Mopar convertibles are stars in the automotive world, this example is owned by a star of the sports world. None other than professional Hockey player, NHL Hall of Fame inductee, Olympic Gold Medalist and Stanley Cup winner Ed Belfour. In celebration of signing his first pro-hockey contract in 1987, he purchased this ’71 Cuda. Since that time, Belfour spent years searching for the best OE equipment available before treating this Mopar to the thorough restoration it wears today.

Crossing the block during Worldwide Auctioneers’ Scottsdale Auction, this stunning and rare ’71 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 6-Pack convertible presents the opportunity for one buyer to take home a piece of Mopar royalty.
